Star Trek Online – GamesCon Trailer

This video from GamesCon 2009 shows plenty of gameplay footage. The first half has comments by I don’t know who, and clearly says the game will be released next year. Let’s hope so!

Even though I love the whole Star Trek universe, I’m not sure what to think of the game. I’m definitely going to try it out, but from what I’ve seen so far I’m not really impressed. Graphics look a little outdated, which I personally don’t mind but I know many others will, and fighting looks… unimaginative. Let’s just hope Cryptic Studios knows what they’re doing and we’ll have a decent game worthy of its title.
